Applicants are expected to be interested in epigenetic regulations in skeletal system, treatment of skeletal diseases or bone and cartilage regeneration with a background in biological sciences including medicine, dental medicine, veterinary medicine, pharmaceutical science, and biology. We consider only applicants that are supported by scholarships including Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship, Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Postdoctoral Fellowships for Research in Japan, Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) etc.
For graduate students, applicants are required to take the entrance examination for the University of Tokyo Graduate School of Medicine or Graduate School of Engineering.
